Like you, I was without God and without hope before I declared Jesus to be my Lord and Saviour. That declaration has altered the course of life, making my story one of glory.
I now have a new identity in Christ Jesus; it is the righteousness of God. My new identity is a product of my faith in the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. Thanks to God for His mercy and goodness that brought me into contact with the word of faith – the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Like Jesus, I am growing in grace and wisdom every other day. I recognize that God’s will for me is to be skilled in righteousness. I am open to instruction in righteousness and to training in the word of righteousness. My life is a work of righteousness; and the fruit of righteousness daily flows from my life. Yes, I live in peace – the fruit of righteousness, and I enjoy quietness and confidence – the effects of righteousness.
I am clothed with the robe of righteousness. I am established in righteousness; and that leaves no room for fear to invite oppression and terror into my life. Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, has risen with healing in His wings for me in the same way He went about 2,000 years ago healing all that were oppressed of the devil.
The word of righteousness and the message of faith in that word have cleansed my heart from an evil conscience. Today, I stand tall in my generation as an oak of righteousness. I Praise be to God – the righteous judge!
