I hope and quietly wait for the salvation of God. I am not anxious about things that look like they are going wrong; and I do not panic in the face of trouble.

When faced with potentially distressing news or times, I take to prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to God for a way out. When in situations that are seemingly a fix, I keep confident in God to sort me out and to fight for me.

God is ever present to help me out. Therefore, my speech is not alarmist but full of assurance of victory. I always keep my words few and full of faith. My attention is on the light of life, not on the pressures of life.

I am surrendered and submitted to the word and will of God. My life is therefore a quiet one. I am not easily upset from my place of rest. I am firm in my hold of faith – the victory that overcomes the world.

I am rested and refreshed in God’s presence regardless of the times and tasks at hand. Greater is God in me than the contradictions in the world.
